Rosalia
Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia, is an Spanish singer of flamenco. Since she was a teen she was involved with traditional as well as popular music. However, her music interests have widened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer gained her fame and critical acclaim after her first album Los Angeles was released in the year 2017. The album earned it the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The set came out in March 2022 after a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Along with taking home three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
