MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album reached the top of the charts at number 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, which was one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia was released in 2020 by Noriel and her Dopamina album in the same year. Later in 2021, he performed as a duo with TINI on her most streamed song Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His mother and brother were also musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is a must. He was taught how to play the saxophone, guitar, the ukulele and piano when he was when he was a child. The first goal was to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend singing lessons from the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his goals for his future career.
