Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines and is now a Filipino American actress as well as a comedian, host of a television show and model. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new queen of Drama" by a variety of media sources. Her name is also acknowledged as one of the Philippines' most experienced and diverse actors. The contest ended as second, making her the youngest winner ever in the history of the show. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in 2012. At the time, she was four years old when she was diagnosed. The cause of her disease was a severe strain of the strep bacteria. The young lady desperately required urgent medical attention and was put on ECMO Life-support in Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. The kidneys of her did not heal after she developed an infection that was septic and she was diagnosed with multiple organ failure. The process of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis later was her new norm. After an 80-day hospital stay Angelica appeared to be dying after which she began a journey towards recuperation. After nearly a year and half of dialysis Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery in her life: a kidney transplant. The donor kidney would come from only her mom. Angelica Hale was able to undergo a kidney transplant alongside her mother on the 13th September 2013. The operation was carried out at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of being a star for years after.
