Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico in a family who loved music. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classical music, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music along with old classical pieces. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. Her mother taught her to sing. However, she started intensive training in vocals by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera Tenor. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. In 2000, she relocated into the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007 she moved to her current home in Southern California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Passion and enthusiasm for art, music, and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
